Seeking Volunteers for BCALA-CT Scholarship Committee

Attention BCALA-CT Membership:

The BCALA-CT chapter is looking for volunteers to serve on its Scholarship committee. We are looking for volunteers who will be committed time-wise to the process of developing the guidelines, evaluating eligible applications, selecting recipients and coordinating the scholarship/award process.

The Scholarship Committee exists to promote scholarship opportunities and encourage Black students into the field of librarianship. It is time to recruit in Connecticut.

S.D. Harris and I will look over the responses and report to them executive board. In addition to she and I, we are looking for five additional committee members who will have the time to commit to this worthwhile undertaking.
