Seeking Volunteers for MLK Day

Dear Members,

The Chapter is seeking volunteers for the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s
Legacy of Environmental and Social Justice 2005 at the Yale Peabody Museum, Monday January 17, 2005.

Please contact our Vice President, Debra Williams Gray if you are interested in volunteering and joining us for a fun filled day of music and educational programs for children.

Volunteers Needed for TWO shifts: 10:00AM- 1:00PM and 1:00-4:00PM


BCALA-CT will be giving out free books to the children. If you've never been to this event, it's worth attending and lots of fun. We have a wonderful time! The program is Free and open to the public. So, please consider volunteering on January 17th.

Also, if you or your library would like to donate books for this event please let Debra know or send items through Ccar at the New Haven Free Public Library-Main. Our program committee is asking for books written by African American Authors only.
