Job Opening: Evening and weekend reference/instruction librarian

Weekend and Evening Reference and Instruction Librarian: The United States Coast Guard Academy Library in New London, CT is looking for a librarian with a strong reference/instruction background to replace our retiring Reference and Instruction Librarian.

Major duties include providing comprehensive reference, research, advisory, evaluative and instructional services at night and on weekends (1:30 pm - 10:00 Sunday-Thursday during the school year). The librarian will also be in charge of producing web pages for the reference department. Minimum qualifications: MLS or equivalent and at least one year of professional experience. Candidate should possess the desire and ability to work in a small, specialized library and become a Jack or Jill of all trades.
