The Awards Committee of the Black Caucus of the American Library Association (BCALA) seeks nominations for the 2005 BCALA Distinguished Service Award. Any nominee must be a current member of the BCALA and should be actively involved in some aspect of the programs and projects of the Caucus.
The deadline for nominations is March 31, 2005.
Criteria: Nominee should have demonstrated, over a period of years, significant and continuous service to the on-going operations, organization and growth of the Black Caucus of the ALA. Exceptional progress in his/her career development that has resulted in specific and
extraordinary service to the BCALA.
Eligibility: Open to active and retired members of the BCALA.
Submissions: The deadline date for nominations is March 31, 2005.

Please be sure that a one-page, or more, justification for your nominee(s) is included with your submission. Names only will be disregarded.
