National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness & Information Day on Monday, February 7, 2005.

In honor of National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness & Information Day, the Kaiser Family Foundation released an updated fact sheet on African Americans and HIV/AIDS. The fact sheet highlights key statistics and trends and provides information on the epidemic’s impact on African American women and young people, and data on access to and use of the health care system by African Americans with HIV/AIDS in the U.S. The Foundation also released an updated fact sheet on HIV/AIDS and Latinos in the U.S. The African American and HIV/AIDS Fact Sheet is available at http://www.kff.org/hivaids/6089-02.cfm and the Latinos and HIV/AIDS Fact Sheet is available at http://www.kff.org/hivaids/6007-02.cfm.
