Reference Librarian/Graduate Support
Jefferson College of Health Sciences,Roanoke, VA

Responsible for the development of graduate collection and on line resources, teaching of students in the area of information literacy and support of faculty in graduate education with emphasis on supporting development of information literacy across the graduate curricula. Master's degree in Library and Information Science from an ALA accredited school required. Knowledge of emerging technologies and
electronic information;three to five years of reference experience preferred.
Experience in health science library; previous experience teaching information
literacy skills and knowledge of medical, nursing and health collections and
electronic resources. Skilled in the use of personal computers and
software applications. Must possess str ong communication, organizational, and
interpersonal skills with the ability to work as a faculty member in the
areas of education, scholarship and service. This position may confer
academic rank according to College policy.
