Summer Internships for Minority Students

SUMMER INTERNSHIPS AVAILABLE FOR UNDERREPRESENTED MINORITY STUDENTS INMAGAZINE PUBLISHING, BOOK PUBLISHING AND TELEVISION PRODUCTION

The Women's Media Group, a New York City-based non-profit organization,is offering several internships during the summer of 2005 for minoritywomen who are presently juniors in college. These paid positions areapproximately eight weeks in length. The internships will be with national magazines, book publishing houses, and broadcast networks.(Last year, we placed interns with Time Inc., Conde Nast, BloombergFinancial News, and Random House, Inc., among others.)

Housing is not provided and all applicants must be able to secure theirown accommodations in the New York City area.

All interested applicants should contact us by email no later than March 1st. Interviews will be conducted during the months of February andMarch and applicants will be informed of decisions shortly thereafter.
