Please join the librarians, faculty and staff at UConn Stamford Campus as we hear from our guest speaker: Marie T. Saddlemire, Doctor of Philosophy, Bowling Green State University. Dr. Saddlemire will summarize the results of her research on the complex and often contradictory definitions surrounding the concepts of plagiarism and academic dishonesty.
She will aslo address:
- the nature of academic dishonesty
- influences affecting faculty responses to academic dishonesty
- ways in wich faculty can respond to cheating incidents
