Book Discussions ~Mashantucket Pequot Museum Research Library

Join others in reading and discussing two notable Native American works that hightlight issues about race and indentity in Indian Country today. Attached is a flyer for two book discussions to be held this summer at the Mashantucket Pequot Museum Research Library.



July 9
Joyce Vincent will lead a discussion on Sherman Alexie’s Indian Killer
  • August 13
    Ron Welburn discusses Joseph Bruchac’s memoir Bowman’s Store: A Journey to Myself.
The sessions are free and are followed by a one-hour tour of the traveling exhibit “RACE: Are We So Different?” Join others in reading and discussing two notable Native American works that highlight issues about race and identity in Indian Country today. Please see attached flyer.
